Lizzard was founded in South Africa in 1991 by Cuan Cronje, starting out with wetsuits and growing over more than 30 years into a respected lifestyle brand. Today, Lizzard designs products that span streetwear, skatewear, cycling kits, and a dedicated women’s range known as Lizzy.

In 2017, Lizzard introduced its first range of double‑walled stainless steel flasks. The aim was simple: create reusable bottles that were durable, functional, and stylish enough to use every day. What started with just a few sizes and colours quickly grew into a much broader range, trusted and loved by customers across South Africa.

I was closely involved in the design and testing of those first flasks back in 2017. Since then, I’ve used them almost every single day. They became part of my routine long before Lizzard Flasks existed in the Netherlands.

When I moved to the Netherlands, I naturally went looking for something similar. While there were plenty of options available, very few matched the quality, simplicity, and reliability I had come to rely on for years. That’s when the idea formed to bring Lizzard Flasks here.

Lizzard Flasks in the Netherlands is about introducing a carefully selected range of these trusted designs to a new audience. We’re starting small, with the intention to grow thoughtfully - building a loyal community that values well‑made, reusable essentials.

All our flasks are double‑walled, stainless steel, and designed for daily use. To make them even more personal, we also offer engraving, allowing you to create something that truly feels like yours.

Our hope is to grow Lizzard Flasks in Europe the same way it grew in South Africa: through quality products, considered design, and people who choose to buy once and buy well.
